TSCG Names Nichole Popovics President

Popovics Brings Deep Industry Relationships and a Track Record on Both Sides of the Table

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – TSCG, the nation’s largest independently owned, retail-only real estate services firm, today announced that Nichole Popovics has been named President of the company. She succeeds Sam Latone in the role, as he transitions to Co-Chair while continuing as Co-CEO alongside David Birnbrey.

The appointment reflects TSCG’s belief that the relationships and perspective needed to lead the industry through its current transformation look different than they did a generation ago. It comes at a moment of momentum, a deliberate choice to build for what comes next while the company is at its strongest.

Popovics joined TSCG in 2021, serving as EVP and Managing Director of National Tenant
Advisory Services, and has spent five years strengthening the firm’s national platform and its relationships across every side of the business. Her background spans the full spectrum of retail real estate, from tenant representation and ownership to REIT operations and private development, giving her an uncommon ability to speak the language of TSCG’s constituencies.

She’s proven herself as exactly the kind of leader TSCG is built to grow.

As President, Popovics will serve as the external face and voice of the company, focused on business development, recruiting top talent, and advancing TSCG’s national profile. She will work hand in hand with the company’s business leaders to ensure the platform operates as a fully integrated whole.

“Retail real estate is changing faster than at any point in my career: the tenant mix, the formats, the way decisions get made,” says Popovics. “What excites me about this role is the chance to make sure TSCG is not just keeping pace with that change but helping to shape it. I look forward to working with the TSCG team to deliver exactly that.”

Popovics is an active voice in the organizations shaping where the industry is headed. She serves on the ULI Retail Real Estate Product Council, a selective group of senior CRE executives that convenes twice a year in closed sessions, and co-chaired the ICSC Open Air Centers Conference in Tampa in 2025, one of the industry’s most prominent gatherings. She also serves on the Florida State University Real Estate Board and has been a featured guest on leading industry podcasts, including Chris Ressa’s Retail Retold.

Popovics, who has been based in Tampa, will relocate to Atlanta to operate from TSCG’s
headquarters. Sam Latone and David Birnbrey remain actively engaged as Co-CEOs and Co-Chairs.
