International Restaurant Brand Chooses Tampa for Florida Debut

TSCG’s Jeremy Kral and Eric Battistone represented V Modern Italian in securing the restaurant’s first Florida location at Rome Collective in Tampa’s North Hyde Park, bringing the internationally recognized dining concept to one of the city’s fastest-growing mixed-use destinations.

The 7,000-square-foot restaurant marks V Modern Italian’s third U.S. location, following successful openings in Nashville and Charleston. Backed by Fast Fine Restaurant Group, the brand has established a global presence with additional locations throughout Sweden, Belgium, Spain, and Saudi Arabia.

Known for its contemporary take on Italian cuisine, V Modern Italian features a menu created by Michelin-starred chef Stefano Ciotti, offering antipasti, fresh pastas, wood-fired sourdough pizzas, salads, and signature entrées. Inspired by the Roman numeral “V” for five, the concept is designed to engage all five senses through its food, atmosphere, and hospitality.

The restaurant is expected to open this September at Rome Collective, Asana Partners’ 38,900-square-foot mixed-use retail development. The project has quickly emerged as a premier dining and retail destination in North Hyde Park, with V Modern Italian joining a growing collection of distinctive concepts.

The transaction reflects continued demand from international restaurant brands seeking expansion opportunities in Florida, with Tampa’s strong demographics and evolving culinary scene making it an increasingly attractive market for first-time entrants.
