TSCG Welcomes Retail Real Estate Vet Joe Kennedy

TSCG, one of the largest, privately owned, retail-focused real estate advisory firms in the country with offices across the eastern U.S. from New York to Miami, announces a Vice President hire in Norfolk, Virginia: Joe Kennedy. In his new role, Kennedy will focus on TSCG’s Tenant & Landlord Services divisions.

Kennedy joins TSCG with a track record of success in retail advisory and investment sales. As a Senior Associate in Retail Advisory at JLL, he represented over 2 million square feet of retail space, working with high-profile clients like Tabani Group and Liberty University to optimize retail environments through strategic market analysis and leasing solutions.

One of Kennedy’s most notable projects was reimagining Transformco’s Sears and K Mart locations in Virginia, transforming underutilized spaces into modern, high-performing retail destinations. At Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, he successfully closed $30 million in retail investment sales across Virginia.

Whether representing clients like Tabani Group, transforming large retail spaces for Transformco, or working with tenants like Honeybaked Ham, Morgan Stanley, and Johnny Rockets, Kennedy consistently leverages his diverse expertise to deliver results. Kennedy is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he majored in finance.
