A Pillar in Memphis Commercial Real Estate: Shawn Massey has been a driving force in the commercial real estate landscape since joining the Memphis office of TSCG in 2003. His vision and expertise quickly propelled him to partner status by 2008, where he has since specialized in shopping center leasing and tenant representation. With over 35 years of diverse experience in the industry, Shawn has played a pivotal role in every phase of an asset's life cycle, from inception to successful execution. Shawn's portfolio is as impressive as it is varied, with projects spanning both urban and rural markets. He has spearheaded the retail leasing efforts for a multitude of high-profile developments, including the transformative Crosstown Concourse, the dynamic Liberty Park, and the community-centric Binghampton Gateway. Whether orchestrating large power centers or curating tenant mixes for single-tenant buildings, Shawn's strategic approach has consistently delivered value for both landlords and tenants seeking high-performing retail sites. Armed with a BBA in Marketing and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from The University of Memphis, Shawn is not just a practitioner but also an educator. He holds prestigious designations such as CCIM, CRRP, and ALC, and shares his knowledge as an adjunct professor at The University of Memphis, where he teaches master's level courses in Real Estate Development, Sustainability, and Investment. Beyond his professional achievements, Shawn is deeply committed to his community. He has served on numerous boards, including Habitat for Humanity, the Binghampton Development CDC Retail Committee, Voice of Harmony, and Youth Visions. As a founding board member and past Chairman of the Board for the Memphis Business Academy charter schools, he has made a lasting impact on education in the Frayser area. His leadership extends to his roles as the 2019 MAAR Commercial Council President and the 2014 local CCIM President, as well as the 2016 CCIM RVP. Shawn's dedication to his community is matched only by his commitment to his family. He is a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church and enjoys a rich family life with his wife, Price Phillips Massey, and their two children, Amanda Parrish and Matthew.

In 1986, Shawn was the captain of The University of Memphis national intercollegiate champion handball team. He also known on Linkedin as The CRE Professor and has taught multiple commercial real estate classes for the past 25 years at the University of Memphis.
