Ruth Seay
Biography

Born and raised in Queens, NY, Ruth graduated from Norman Thomas H.S. and moved to Richmond, VA where she lived for 13 years before moving to Charlotte, NC. While in Richmond, Ruth began her career in commercial real estate at Capital One in their Corporate Real Estate Department. At Capital One, Ruth started as a Facilities Coordinator before being promoted to Assistant Property Manager. After managing over 2.4 mil sq. ft. of commercial real estate throughout VA and NC, over a 15-year career for companies like Capital One, JLL, CBRE, Healthcare Realty, MPV Properties, Ruth received her real estate license in 2015. With my background and experience, I joined TSCG in 2023 as a Senior Property Manager.

I pride myself on my ability to build and sustain strong working relationships and my knack for resolving what could be difficult situations with internal and external customers. It is very rewarding to make a tenants day just by answering an email, or stopping by their office to answer their concerns. Keeping the tenants and clients happy is a number one priority of mine. Happy tenants equal renewals and new leases, which has a positive impact on the bottom line.

I am very adept at partnering with my team, other teams and vendors that perform services at the properties. Managing and staying on top of recurring services and projects that are taking place in and around the buildings are vital to being a successful property manager.

What To Know
I am an empty nester, but enjoy spending time with my family. I still like ride roller coasters and enjoy taking my grandson to Dave and Busters to play the video games. Our favorite game to play is The Walking Dead. My passion is Yoga which I try to enjoy two to three times a week, when my schedule allows.
Retail Rewind

Favorite Retail Store as a Child
Growing up in NY my favorite restaurant was Beefsteak Charlie's. They were a well-known Manhattan restaurant that later became a chain with locations in Queens. They offered unlimited chilled shrimp, steak and delicious apple pie. My parents and I would go there all the time and indulge on the all you can eat shrimp.
