Biography
Katie Shields was born and raised in Lilburn, Georgia. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Accounting in 2011. Katie started her career at Alliant CPA Firm with an incredible group of people, which helped her find her next role at the Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Katie spent 5 years working at this wonderful non-profit wearing many hats: event planning, HR, accounting, volunteer management, fundraising, and logistics.
Katie joined TSCG in 2017 as an HR Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator. In December 2018, Katie earned her Human Resources Certified Professional designation from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Through continuous training, learning, mentoring, and coaching, Katie was promoted to Assistant Director of Human Resources in July 2024. She loves doing whatever she can to help her TSCG team/family – whether it is with benefits, PTO, onboarding, insurance, employee relations/engagement, and anything and everything HR and TSCG related.
What To Know
Katie loves spending time with her husband, Brandon, family and friends, and nieces and nephews. Katie loves the TV Show, Friends, and enjoys watching the Atlanta Braves and SEC college football.
