Biography
David Miller is a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal in Atlanta, specializing in resolving complex business and financial issues for companies and their stakeholders, including creditors and equity holders. With over 30 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, insolvency, and valuation, he has advised large and mid-size companies, including Boards of Directors, through both formal and informal restructurings.
He has worked across a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, broadcast media, consumer products, and real estate. Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, David was a Managing Director at Macquarie Capital in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group and previously held senior roles at Giuliani Capital Advisors and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance.
David holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Emory University. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), holds a Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV), and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
