Biography
As Partner and Executive Vice President, Alan leads the leasing strategy and execution for every project under his direction. He oversees the leasing, administrative, research, and GIS teams to ensure each assignment receives a thoughtful, customized approach. Alan believes every property has its own story and potential, and he works closely with his team to shape the vision, build the strategy, and execute with precision.
He represents institutional and private owners and developers across a wide range of retail assets, including single/multi-tenant buildings, unanchored strip centers, power centers, mixed-use developments, and land dispositions. Over the course of his career, Alan has built long-standing relationships with national, regional, and local retailers and restaurateurs, as well as service-oriented and medical users. His strength lies in connecting the right tenant to the right real estate and structuring deals that create long-term value.
A lifelong Atlantan, Alan joined The Shopping Center Group in 2003 after graduating from the University of South Florida. He previously served as Co-Chairman of the ChainLinks Landlord Council, guiding hundreds of Landlord reps across the country, and has consistently been recognized as a “Power Broker” for the results he delivers on behalf of his clients.
Alan is married and the proud father of two daughters who are both in college, an experience that keeps him highly motivated, grounded, and always focused on building lasting success.
