The Atlanta-based Shopping Center Group, one of the largest privately owned retail real estate advisory firms in the U.S., said it is expanding its mid-Atlantic capabilities in leasing and brokerage with the addition of Loretta Cataldi.
Cataldi is a licensed broker in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Maryland and brings years of experience in leasing and sales in retail development.
According to the Shopping Center Group, Cataldi has built a career portfolio of real estate transactions totaling about $250 million, with recent notable projects including The Corner at Short Pump and Winding Brook in Henrico County.
She joins the Group from Colliers International where she was recently recognized as the 2015 top producer and leasing leader for the Richmond office and inducted into Colliers International’s Everest Club 2015 for overall top producers.
Before going to work for Colliers, she held positions with Cushman Wakefield.  A longtime member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Cataldi currently serves as chairman for Virginia Idea Exchange and was formerly the state operations chairman for Southern Virginia and chairman for the Mid-Atlantic Dealmakers for the ICSC.
